Commonwealth Fun Day

Friday 15 August

On Friday we are having a Commonwealth sports fun day. Our class is India. If you have had thing white, orange or green please wear it on Friday. Families are warmly invited to come and watch the fun. If it’s wet we will be inside.

11.00-11.45 - Opening Ceremony

11.45- 12.45 - Early lunch

12.45-2.15 - Sports rotation with Buddy class

2.20-2.45 - Closing ceremony in hall

School Show Room 21

This term we are learning a dance to perform in the School production on in Week One of Term 4. Our class will be performing a Samoan dance. All of the children will be on stage and will all be in costume.  We will be making the costumes at school but all of the children will need a black T-shirt, (with nothing on it) and the boys will need black shorts and the girls black leggings.

What you need to do:

Name a black T-shirt and shorts or leggings to send to school by 15 September in a named plastic bag.

Helpers needed:

Toni has offered to help hand sew butterfly wings but we would love some more help. Please see me if you can help. We also need help to cut the lava lava’s.
